Since he entered the industry in Sardinia – Italy on 1978, he held positions in hotel sales, marketing, and operations. Working his way starting: from sport activities, entertainment, front desk, food & beverage, public relations, sales.
After such a long experience in the tourism industry, Massimo can put his insider knowledge to work to find the special commercial property or hotel in Costa Rica in the area of choice. Massimo was privileged to have worked shoulder-to-shoulder with some of the most talented people in the Industry. Many of these people are still mentors to his work today. In 2006, Marinoni created his coaching company Asesoria Turistica Marinoni.
He has also had operational and marketing experience with many hotel chains and franchising such as: Sol Meliá, Barceló Hotels, Exclusive Resorts LLC, and Small Luxury Hotels in the World, Interval International, RCI, and several independent hotels.
Through the years, he has used his personal experience to market properties and with his coaching/mentoring program to assist the buyers with the challenge of developing the hotels they bought.
When the opportunity arose to join Coldwell Banker Coast to Coast Properties, with successful real estate broker Linda Gray marketing properties in Costa Rica for twenty years, Massimo became a R.E. Commercial Specialist in order to become part of the real estate success stories in Playa del Coco and Costa Rica.

The increasing influence of the Internet on the hotel industry captured his focus, in 2002, and inspired him to research and develops methods to design functional web sites, maximize search engine results, manage third-party supplier contribution, manage rates and inventory, and assist hotels to get their fair share of this increasingly competitive environment.
