COSTA RICA: A Hot Spot for Worldwide Celebrities

Tourists travel in big quantities all over the world since many years ago for all kinds of purposes. Many of the countries from Central America depend on tourism in a great percentage. For some countries, it’s even the biggest and most stable market they posses. 

Looking back a couple of years ago until now, tourism has become a real popular global leisure activity. In fact, tourism in Costa Rica has grown consistently since 1995.

A geographically small country, such as Costa Rica, is presently one of the biggest tourist spots in Central America. According to the Utopia Magazine, we have been receiving numerous visits from well known Celebrities all over the country. 

Various celebrities, worldwide, have found this country to be a perfect second home or at least as a paradisiacal getaway. Some of them are Andre Agassi and Steffi Graff, Madonna, Bruce Willis, Meg Ryan, Michael Jordan, Sylvester Stallone, Tiger Woods, Cindy Crawford, Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, William Baldwin, Bill Gates, Charlie Sheen, Pink, among others.

A great example is Steve Case, the founder of AOL, who purchased a $42 million property right here in Playas del Coco (we could say he is a local neighbor now!). Also this successful business man one of the main investors in an $800 million project in the area.

And don’t forget about Mel Gibson, who has been visiting Costa Rica for more than 10 years and recently, a 163-hectare estate caught his attention; a lot located in the Gulf of Papagayo, in front of Playa Barrigona that is worth $25.8 million.

Come to Costa Rica and join the celebrities. WHY NOT! !
