Costa Rica third in economic index


(El Financiero)  -  The Brazilian Economic Institute (IBRE) ranked Costa Rica as having the third best Economic Climate Index in Latin America, trailing only Uruguay and Peru. Costa Rica edged Chile, Brazil, Colombia and Argentina. The index reflects current economic conditions and expectations about the economy of the countries ranked. Some 117 experts from 15 countries were consulted.
